Mint Finance will be acting as a Credit Broker, working with a panel of lenders on your behalf to find a suitable arrangement for you.
We will, at all times, act in your best interests. We will source loans from the market that are suitable to the requirements you disclose to us. When the preferred option has been agreed, we will provide you with information about the loan and the provider of this to ensure you understand your responsibilities and commitments before proceeding.
Please ask for details of the panel of lenders we use if you require this information.
Additional Services
Mint Finance will act as a consultant, providing consultancy, advisory or additional support services. The exact scope of these services will be agreed with you before Mint Finance provides the service to you.
Our Charges
We may charge you a fee dependant on the service you require, the product determined most suitable for you for and your circumstances. The actual fee will be explained to you prior to the service being provided. We may also receive commission from the lender.
Fees we charge you relating to “Financial Intermediary Services” are usually VAT exempt. This is because financial intermediary services fall under the VAT exemption for financial services (VAT Notice 701/49). Fees we charge you relating to “Additional Services” are usually subject to VAT.

Credit Checks
To process your application, we may search the files of licensed credit reference agencies, who will keep a record of the search, to confirm your particulars and for the purpose of a credit assessment.
A record can be kept of such searches which may be used by other lenders in assessing future applications for finance by you and for fraud prevention. These organisations may use this information in the future to help make credit decisions, prevent financial crime and to trace debtors.
Consent for carrying out the appropriate verification checks will be obtained from you and stored on our system.
